Assistant Store Manager Designate

Are you passionate about creating unique experiences for your colleagues and customers? We are looking for an assistant store manager designate to join our retail management team. Previous optical experience isn’t required for this role, the focus here is to create joy in vision for our colleagues and customers, working closely with your store manager to create an environment that provides an expert and trusted eyecare experience.

What can you expect from the role?

The role of an assistant store manager designate at Vision Express is to join us on a six-month training and development program to learn all about us. After the program you will be placed in your own store. Here we will look to you to create an environment with your store manager where we win together, where all our colleagues have a role to play in making our customers feel special. If you like the buzz of the shop floor, creating a unique customer experience and developing a team, this role will suit you.

The beauty of this role is that no two days are ever the same. You will spend your first six months in stores of different sizes and work with your mentors to learn all about us, bringing our brand to life. Working closely with your store team you will build a high achieving environment that delivers a great customer experience whilst recognising your team in the moments that matter to them.

About you

Previous optical experience is not needed to join our retail team, however previous experience of managing teams in a customer facing environment, with a passion for creating a personalised experience is preferential.
