Do you have a passion for bringing a brand to life? We’re looking for an assistant PR and social media manager to join our marketing team. As part of our brand team, you’ll be involved in increasing our brand awareness and consideration by bringing to life our Vision Express brand.

 

What can you expect from the role?

 

The beauty of this role is no two days are ever the same. From creating and implementing a social media plan, you’ll create content to use across our social and PR channels to support our ambitious marketing plans. You’ll also get involved in press requests and working with influencers to promote our brand.

 

We’ll look to you to spot trends and look for opportunities for us to grow our brand across our social channels. You’ll also be analysing the success of our campaigns, feeding back to the business on our successes and opportunities for the next campaign.

 

This opportunity will see you generating creative as well as copy for PR and social media campaigns. Working with colleagues across the business, you’ll also find opportunities for collaborating with colleagues across our stores, support centre and retail fulfilment hub.

About you

 

We’re looking for candidates with previous experience in social media and PR, ideally within a retail environment. You’ll have experience in photography and videography as well as editing suites including Adobe. We’d love to see your eye for detail in previous work you’ve created if possible!

Proficiency in a social media listening and scheduling tool also essential.

 

You’ll challenge the norm by continuously looking for areas of opportunities and with your customer centric mindset and you’ll be able to present these to stakeholders across the business.
